In this edition of The Odysessy, young children will be able to read about the adventures of the Greek hero, Odysseus, as he sails home to Ithaca after the Trojan war. It proves to be a perilous journey, full of mortal danger. Before Odysseus reaches Ithaca he has to face the terrors of Polyphemus the cyclops, the monster Scylla and the vast whirlpool Charybdis. Once home, Odysseus is not immediately recognized and rivals are trying to steal his palace and his wife, Penelope. A mighty contest must be fought before Odysseus can gain his rightful place as King of Ithaca.
